Composed in 1976 on a suggestion by the in GFR living American trumpet-virtuoso Marrs, who premiered the piece. It is a short piece with relatively high requirements concerning changes of timbre (especially by means of different kinds of mutes). At the end the piece alludes to a Bohemian folksong from the area of recruit songs.
